Let Music & Bodies Unite is an intrinsically dance-inspired party album, featuring elements of ’90s dance music, post-rock, disco, electronica and unashamed pop music. The second album from Australia’s Rat vs Possum is a new direction for the band and it is an absolute gem of an album. The band have played many a festival over the last year and have had sold out shows across Australia. The stand out track for us is actually the last track on the album – YOU – a stomping party track with banging drums and a happy steel drum solo – who doesn’t love a steel drum solo? We also love Fat Monk and Never die is brilliant too. We love this record, it has depth and quirk, a great pace to it and makes you feel how we all wanna feel – GOOOOOD !!!!!

Neither the pub monsters or devilish pranksters their name might suggest, The Bon Scotts actually sound more like early Architecture in Helsinki. The Aussie band seem united by a penchant for quirky sounds and a sincere love of pop melodies. “Oddernity”, the band’s debut album is a highly enjoyable album with tangles of melody and percussion combined to create a  unique splash of colorful tracks. The lyrics are quirky but casual musings finding emotional resonance in eager splays of wordplay, as well as relatable conflict. It’s a deep but joyous album that takes on a life of its own.

The Shivers make incredibly catchy and endearing New York-centric experimental folk rock.
Gentle and simple folk melodies with intriguing lyrics blend with at times thunderous almost invasive rhythmic crashing – a very unique sound. A project born from working both in Australia and New York City, the Shivers are creating a cult following and their prolific nature and uniquness is garnering them much attention from both fans and the media. There is a real quirky and yet deep beauty to The Shivers music, at times comparable to Leonard Cohen or The Velvet Underground. On the album Beaks to the Moon, tracks such as “I wish I was never born” and “there is a reason” are lyrically intense and confronting, but laid across such sweet gentle subtle music and the track “feather”, with its soft delicate and female vocal and gorgeous romantic lyrics is a truly amazing and angelic track.

Once you hear the track "Loves not worth it" by Lee and Willbee you will instantly be struck by what an amazingly beautiful, delicate and romantic song it is !!! It's exceptionally unique pop-tronica: as are all the tracks on Lee & Willbee's album North Carolina - simply brilliant!  Its modern, slick and full of warm, unusual and endearing sounds  - It's a tonic for troubled souls who are not afraid of a catchy melody . Truly golden electronica, gentle to the ears and full of mystique.

My Robot Friend is a musical and performance art project led by New York's Howard Robot and his October released album "Soft core" is one of the albums that makes you think up genre descriptions that you hope no-one else has thought of.....like...: "emo-synth-tech-pop" which we thinkz actually describes it really well. Phew! Over two years in the making, the album is both ground breaking and catchy. Since 2001 My Robot friend has been recording and performing, and his tracks have been covered by the likes of Robbie Williams and the Pet Shop Boys. He has also collaborated with well know New York musician Antony from Antony and the Johnsons and also  Alison Moyet from Yazoo. There's no doubt that the album is arty electronica and Howard Robot's vision is genius, but the real delight is the beautifully soft overtone to the album with gentle memorable melodies and vocals, heartfelt lyrics and really catchy choruses.......it's great stuff for us humans to enjoy and it's growing success indeed warranted.

3EME SEXE from Denmark  have made a hot new steamy album with Je t'aime si vous voulez. It brings a new sound to electro pop, and this is pure analog! By using minimal recording techniques and only the real hand-played vintage stuff, (analog keyboards, synths, effects), rock 'n' roll guitars, and stewardess-like vocals, 3EME SEXE creates an anarchistic universe influenced by sixties beat, sweet seventies pop.The track "Apache" is a real stand out ! There is much pleasure to be had from this modern yet retro and sexy album !

Whilst Keeping in touch with dancefloor-culture, thrilling German outfit Rework make post-retro- New Wave hits combining Electroclash with a true indie glam rock attitude. Front singer Sascha Hedgehog, finds herself singing disenchanted yet ultra sexy Nicoesque (Velvet Underground) vocals over punching  beats that sound fresh out of 1981. The album Pleasure is pretty is filled with cold dance floor hits and Elektro-Guitar-Synth-Ballads. There’s a real ready to rock glam-factor to the music too! It's very sexy and chic like Ladytron mixed with New Young Pony Club. Tracks “Wrong in all ways” and “I want to be like you” are real killers!

Indie electronic guru Winston Giles is an incredibly prolific artist. The Australian born producer, songwriter and performer has been releasing awesome albums under various monikers for well over a decade. His projects have included the art/pop/punk/dance outfit Atari Baby, the romantic and uplifting Winston Giles Orchestra and the recent stylish and chic release "LOVERS".

Self described as “Shoegaze, Jam Band and Healing and Easy Listening.” Psycedelic 5 piece rock band The Sand Pebbles have compiled the best of three earlier albums to deliver “A Thousand Wild Flowers”. The album showcases the genius musical brains that have conspired to create the spirit of Californian psychedelica with modern grooves and slick production. The band are indeed different to just about anything else out there at the moment. The Shake up have slapped out a killer album of Cash/Stooges style pop punk with ".....if you have no shame". The record, produced by Jim Diamond (White Stripes) is energy packed with super catchy pubish rock gems. The tracks have simple but infectious rythyms and shout along choruses. It's an attractive mix of alcohol soaked themes, skin tight riffs and an arrogance that reins supreme. It fiesty stuff and we are diggin it. From Brooklyn USA, Team Genius may just have one of the most interesting eclectic pop records of the year thus far and “Hooray” does seem to be the correct word choice for this five-song EP. With fast guitar riffs, happy upbeat vocals, and clinking drums, Team Genius wails back and forth between dance-y post-punk and freak-folk appeal. This debut EP is a pure joy of surprise and excitement. Their songs are catchy, poppy indie numbers that refuse to leave your head. The simple, gentle, but active pop music is at times folksy and sunny and the songs are—short anthems that are neither sweet nor sour.
